About Us

The Rojava Doctors’ Union is a non-governmental, non-profit medical organization founded in 2014. It aims to provide professional and medical support to Syrian doctors in Northeast Syria and across Europe, with a focus on strengthening healthcare in crisis-affected regions. The Union builds an integrated network connecting medical professionals inside the country and throughout the diaspora, working to improve the quality of healthcare services and enhance medical and professional capacities.

Our Mission

To offer professional, medical, and humanitarian support to Syrian doctors, and to promote the delivery of integrated and sustainable healthcare for communities affected by conflict, with a special focus on medical education and continuous training.

Our Vision

To be a pioneering and independent organization working to develop the healthcare system by empowering doctors and supporting vulnerable communities — becoming a model of non-governmental medical work both locally and internationally.

Our Team

The Rojava Doctors’ Union includes a dedicated team of physicians and medical experts based in Northeast Syria (Rojava) and in diaspora communities. Together, they work in a spirit of solidarity to achieve the Union’s mission and goals.
